Single storey ground floor rear extension.
What the client wanted
This project consisted of a full-scale ground floor refurbishment, structural alterations internally and a rear extension to create a delightful open plan kitchen and a side aspect extension so as to create a utility room, with kitchenette and shower, connected to the existing side garage.
Our creative solution
In essence, the client wanted to transform their narrow pocky existing kitchen into a large open-plan kitchen and living room filled with spacious light along with underfloor heating.

Our favourite features
We love the breakfast bar island. There is a dining table for formal use, but the island allows the whole family to sit together to enjoy a more informal meal or snack, allowing them to relax together whenever they can. We also love the way the glass door makes the garden feel like a true part of the space, as this adds a really positive feeling to the extension.
